National Science Day

Every year, the 28th of February is celebrated as National Science Day in India. The day marks the discovery of the Raman Effect by the esteemed scientist Professor C.V.Raman. The Raman Effect was discovered in 1928, and this discovery was rewarded the Nobel Prize in 1930. 

 Agastya celebrated National Science Day with much joy and excitement at  our various centers across the country. Science fairs, discussions and  interactions with experts, and fun activities and games were all part of the  celebrations.     He was the first Indian person to win the Nobel Prize in science for his illustrious 1930 discovery, which is known as the "Raman Effect".
