This year, Anveshana was launched for the first time in Delhi! The program is running it's 5th edition in Bangalore, and the 3rd edition in Hyderabad.
Anveshana is a Science & Engineering competition which culminates in a Fair where the students exhibit their projects/models. This Competition primarily involves undergraduate Engineering students and underprivileged school going students where the students together follow philosophies and practices of hands-on learning and research orientation, to make models based on Engineering-Science concepts. The Engineering Students mentor school students in the creation of models while inducing knowledge and confidence in them. This year Bangalore's Anveshana received over 200 entries, of which 45 were shortlisted and selected to exhibit their work at the Fair.
The winners of the Bangalore edition were students from Udupi who had created a novel 'Smart Farming' method to help farmers in their local communities.
