What is DaanUtsav?

Daan Utsav, also known as the Festival of Giving, is India’s annual celebration of giving. Held around 2–8 October, it encourages people, organisations, schools and communities to give in different ways through donations, volunteering, sharing skills, or helping others.

It is a time to celebrate the spirit of daan (giving) and inspire people to contribute to causes that matter to them.

How will Daan for Future Coders help Students?

Agastya is working to bridge the digital learning gap by bringing technology education closer to students in government schools. Through Digi-Kshetra, students get access to hands-on, experiential learning in areas such as coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, IoT, drones and digital creativity. Instead of only learning about technology from textbooks, students get opportunities to explore, experiment, build projects and solve real-world problems. The programme also introduces students to emerging technologies and helps them develop problem-solving, creative thinking and digital skills. With your support through Daan for Future Coders, these learning opportunities can reach more students, giving them the chance to discover technology, turn their ideas into reality and take their first steps towards becoming the creators and innovators of tomorrow.

Potential Long-Term Impact

By reaching thousands of students each year, Digi-Kshetra can help bridge the digital learning gap and prepare young minds for a technology-driven future. Daan for Future Coders can contribute to creating a generation of students who are not only familiar with technology, but also curious, creative and confident in using it to solve problems. Through hands-on experiences in coding, robotics, AI, IoT and other emerging technologies, students can develop skills that extend beyond the classroom and into their future education and careers. With your support, we can bring digital learning opportunities to more students and help shape a generation of creators, problem-solvers and innovators. Join us in building a digitally ready India, one student at a time.
