School Children Showcase Science Models to Nestlé Leadership
Siya and Yana from Government Model Sanskriti School, Rajakheri, Haryana, presented five science models Eclipse, Inertia of Rest, Human Lung, Double Cone, and Human Heart before Philipp Navratil, Nestlé’s Global CEO and senior leadership team.
As part of their preparation, the children also visited the Nestlé Samalkha Plant, gaining a closer look at the world beyond their classroom. The presentation gave them a chance to share what they had learned, explain their models with confidence, and interact with senior members of the organization.
Al for Teachers: From Reflection to Practice in Sikkim
On 17 August, thirteen IT and computer science teachers from government schools across Sikkim came together for a two-day Teacher Transformation Program under the AI on Wheels initiative, supported by Cipla Foundation. The workshop was shaped by feedback from last year, focusing on learning, research, productivity, and communication. Through practical sessions with tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM, teachers explored how AI can support their classrooms and everyday work. The program created space to experiment, reflect, and turn new ideas into practice.
Sony Team Connects with Learning on the Ground
A team from Sony India Software Centre Private Limited visited Agastya’s programs in Tumkur as part of a field visit. The delegation included Tony Asakura, Managing Director; Ayumsa Hishiyama, Director and Management Personnel; Muthuraj, Director – General Administration; and Vinutha Raja, Head – Human Resources.
During the visit, the team observed sessions at the Science Center and Mobile Science Lab (MSL), gaining insights into how the programs are implemented. They also interacted with the headmaster to understand the school’s experience with Agastya’s interventions and their impact on children.
Inspiring Brighter Minds for a Cooler Planet
A three-day residential workshop on “Culture of Learning” was held from 21 to 23 July 2026 at the Agastya Campus Creativity Lab, Gudivanka, Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with Lehigh University, USA. The workshop brought together 24 school leaders from government, private, and aided schools for reflection, dialogue, and shared learning. Through discussions and activities around creative inquiry, AI, design thinking, science, mathematics, and ecology, participants explored new approaches to building learner-centered school cultures.
A key highlight was the exchange between school leaders and students and faculty from Lehigh University’s Department of Creative Inquiry, reinforcing the idea that everyone is a learner. The workshop concluded with participants developing practical, low-cost ideas to address challenges in their own schools, taking forward new perspectives on leadership, and creating a culture where curiosity, creativity, confidence, and caring can flourish.
